For a legal stay in North Cyprus, you must obtain a touristic, student or work visa. It is should be noted that a tourist visa is given for a period of not more than three months.
A residence permit in North Cyprus is called a “white card” and is issued to people after reaching the age of 18 years. To obtain a white card, you need to collect a certain package of documents. Obligatory is the existence of an insurance policy, which must be renewed every 2 years.
Among the applicants for obtaining a residence permit can be:
– People under the age of 60 who received a touristic visa at least 6 times;
– People older than 60 years who received a touristic visa at least 3 times;
– People under the age of 60 who received a work visa at least 6 times;
– Individuals who owns real estates, the total value of which is not less than 125,000 euros.

All applicants must also have at least $ 6,000 in a bank account in North Cyprus. To issue a white card costs 2000 liras.
